VSA arts Virginia-Loudoun County is a fully inclusive visual and performing arts program that provides discovery opportunities for individuals with and without disabilities. Acting, dancing, drawing, sculpting - whatever form of creating you choose is done side by side with people of all ages and abilities. We focus on what you can do, your strengths and talents, and use the arts to bring out your creative best. Founded in 1989, we performed our first musical play, "The Wizard of Oz", at the Lucketts Community Center in the Spring of 1991. The next year, we moved to Loudoun Valley Community Center for rehearsals and performances, where we remained until our audiences outgrew the gymnasium! Now we rehearse at the Round Hill Center, home of the Franklin Park Performing and Visual Arts Center, and perform at local schools like Belmont Ridge Middle School.

What's next for VSA?

VSA arts plans to expand our program significantly, so that it can continue to be more accessible and more fulfilling to a wider population. Theatrically, this plan includes VSA arts becoming self-sustaining with our productions and increased participation in regional and global celebrations such as the National Cherry Blossom Festival, the Purcellville 100 Years Celebration, and the International VSA Festival. We will offer more theater workshops, grow our Clownin Around program and bring back the traveling puppet group, Puppets-a- Poppin. We also plan to offer programs in Eastern and Western Loudoun County.
